The Goose Girl is a wonderful fairytale with many sudden surprises. When the princess hides away as a goose girl, she befriends a worker named Enna who stars in the second book Enna Burning. Ani (the goose girl in hiding who goes by the nickname Isi) must find the king to stop war with the help of her friends. This 383 page novel is a great book to read if you are bored or want to read a wonderful fairytale full of twists, especially secrets. Believe me, you will be hanging on the edge of your seat. This book is great for teens or preteens. It does have some action though. I would definitely rate this book with five stars.
